Coconut Frappuccino

I can’t believe it, but it’s already in the 90’s here in Florida and I’m always looking for ways to cool off. One of my favorite ways is with a refreshingly cool summer Frappuccino. I partnered with International Delight and created this Coconut Frappuccino, using their Simply Pure Vanilla Creamer. It’s a simple delicious coffee creamer with no artificial flavors or colors. Real milk, sugar, and cream is something I can get behind and with its bold flavor it makes a simple cup of coffee, fabulous.

I was looking to get that addictive taste of the Starbucks Coconut Frappuccino – now that they seemed to have stopped selling it! However, I also wanted to go more natural on the coconut flavor. I love Starbucks – but they do use a lot of additives. I substituted the syrup with organic cream of coconut and toasted coconut flakes to give it lots of coconut flavor. The toasted coconut adds a lovely nutty flavor.  Be careful when you toast it though, as it burns very easily.  I had trouble stopping myself from eating it all before I finished the drinks… I’d make a little extra (for snacking)!

Forget about running to Starbucks this summer for your frozen treats and make them at home. This is a copycat clone recipe, not Starbucks’ proprietary recipe. Save time, money, and most importantly yourself with a cup of homemade Frappuccino. It takes less than five minutes to make this!
