For nearly a century, Kentucky Derby fans have celebrated Kentucky Derby Day with a frosty Mint Julep. In 2006 Kentucky Oaks fans were given the opportunity to start a new tradition, with the “Grey Goose® Oaks Lily®,” which quickly became the official cocktail of the Kentucky Oaks. Over $90,000 has been donated to Horses and Hope to aid in their outreach program in Kentucky’s horse racing industry. Grey Goose Vodka and cosmopolitan mix are combined to create a pink hue, which resembles the colors of a hot pink and white-hued stargazer lily. Serve in a stem-less wine glass with crushed ice, add a straw and garnish with a blackberry and a lemon wedge.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ox. GREY GOOSE Vodka

1 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix

1/4 oz. Triple Sec

3 oz. Cranberry Juice

Directions:

1. Once the ingredients are mixed, place the pinkish cocktail in a stemless wine glass with crushed ice, add a straw and garnish with a blackberry and lemon wedge. The official glass is found  here, and makes a nice party favor to your guests to take home.
